My name is Cherise Gamble. I’m the Chairman for LC4 Louis Trichardt 2019-2020. I was introduced to Ladies Circle by Riana Otto in 2015. I became the Secretary for LC4 after I was inducted in the same year. After that I became Vice-Chairman for 3 consecutive years. In 2017-2018 I was also the National Secretary. This was a big learning curve for me and I gained a lot of experience. This year it was my turn to take over the Chairmanship from Diane Otto.(Right in the photo) Unfortunately Diane moved to Middelburg, and we lost Gerda (she had to retire). So it’s only me and Riana now. My main focus this year is membership.
Along with Ladies Circle my daily job is a Back of House Manager at Ocean Basket. I started working at Ocean Basket Louis Trichardt in September 2016 after we sold our family business in July 2016. We had this business for 18 years which was part of my career for 10 years.
About a month ago my fiancé and I started another business called LTT Deliveries. Because our town is too small for Mr. Delivery or UBER eats, we decided to start something similar to it for our town.
As if that is not enough, we are getting married the 14th September this year. So some wedding planning also in between.
On this note I see myself as a “go getter”. I’m also a very ambitious person, I set goals for myself and my future husband as a couple. Hard-Working is also one of my strong points. Sometimes Riaan (my Fiancé) says I’m too strict, haha, but I like to push people to their full potential. I’m funny, like to social, friendly and sometimes a bit sarcastic.
This is a short version of me and my busy life.
