LCSA AGM 1st Timer – Sally Anderson

Dear Ladies

For years I have had a desire within me to get more involved in the community.

When the opportunity to join this amazing organisation was afforded to me, I was at a place in my life where I needed to start doing something that would contribute to my purpose in life.   So after hunting Michelle and Judy (hehe) down (hehe) I attended my first meeting in Edenvale in June 2018.  I was inducted earlier this year and I haven’t looked back.  NOT ONCE!!

The motto of Friendship and Service really resonates in my heart and I am honoured to be able to use this platform that I have been given to make a difference not only in the lives of those around me but also in my own life.

We went to EL for our national AGM in May.  What an amazing experience to be surrounded by genuine, intelligent, supportive, like minded ladies.  From learning how an AGM is run to the theme party on the Friday night. I never in my life thought that I would be comfortable wearing cute little black dresses and a pirate hat on the Friday.  The President’s gala dinner on Saturday was spectacular; I have never even considered attending events such as that.

Congratulations to Peta-Lyn Foot our 2019 / 2020 LCSA President and her board.  I am looking forward to soaring to new heights with you ladies.

EL LC 23 did a phenomenal job in hosting us and I look forward to Edenvale LC 6 hosting the 2020 AGM in Johannesburg.

I have learnt so much about myself in the short time I have been with LCSA and I have the utmost admiration for all of the ladies whom I have had the pleasure of meeting.

I have seen and been to places around the country that I would have never gone to and have made friends that I would have never met if it wasn’t for Ladies Circle.

I look so forward to continue this amazing journey with these awesome ladies and hopefully doing a lot more travelling J

Yours in Circle
