PE Pearls Ladies Circle No. 19’s Project for the month of July was to raise funds for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation in Port Elizabeth in the form of a Colour & Shave initiative. We asked for the support of members of the community in the form of monetary donations with the incentives that should we reach the target of R3000 that Chantal would colour her hair a funky colour, and Cindy would shave her hair on reaching a target of R5 000. We are so grateful to have reached both our targets, and within record time no less.
Chantal looked as pretty as a peacock as she opted for Jade Blue and dyed her hair on 14 July just after reaching the first target, while Cindy’s shave took place after our blood donation on Saturday 25th July.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us and this great initiative. We are going to make such a difference in the lives of the little Cancer warriors, and we could not do it without your help, for this we are ever grateful.
