“The best therapy in the world is time out with your friends.”

Our PE Pearls Ladies Circle No. 19 Girl Gang tries to get together at least once a month to enjoy some friendly “therapy” on a purely social level.

On Saturday 4 September 2021 a few of us got together after the Spar Women’s Challenge for a delicious brunch at Barn & Barrel at Kings Court, Walmer Heights.

Our Girl Gang had a Bring & Braai at Londt Park Sports Club on 19 October 2021, where we first had some fun decorating gift boxes for the Santa Shoebox Project, followed by fire, food, and fellowship.

We supported the Round Table PE West 142 Sports & Market Day at Londt Park Sports Club on 6 November 2021, and on 1 December 2021 we chose to meet up at de’Swan, Sunridge for drinks and some friendly banter.

Thursdays are Karaoke Night at Londt Park, and one of us is not shy to sing, so we got together on Thursday 17 February 2022 for some good food, dancing and karaoke.

We also have the “Passing of the Friendship Bottle” which is a tradition in our Circle that we do monthly as a way of getting to know each better, where 2 or more of our Circle members get together to celebrate friendship and fellowship by means of various activities, whether it be a day at the spa, skydiving, hiking, or just getting together for coffee.  Our Bottle was a gift that we received from our Godmother Circle, Shiraz Ladies Circle No. 8, on the day of our Charter (11 November 2011).
