PE Pearls Ladies Circle No. 19 all wore our topes in support of Sunflower Day on Friday 13th November 2020.

Proceeds from the sale of these Topes allow the Sunflower Fund to recruit blood stem cell donors, offering hope to patients diagnosed with Leukemia, Sickle Cell Disease and Aplastic Anaemia, to name a few. It also contributes to the patient assistance fund, to help patients with the costs of getting to transplant.

PE Pearls LC19 Chairlaidy, Sonel Lindeque, took some time out of her busy schedule to donate monthly cleaning products to the Association for the Physically Disabled (APD), as well as clothing and bedding to CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Clothing and other items were donated to Vistarus Mission Station, a place of safety for members of the Port Elizabeth community and surrounding areas who are homeless, unemployed, former drug addicts, abused women and children, pensioners, and people affected by HIV/Aids.
