In the heart of the Boland lies Worcester, the capital of the Breede Valley. Nestled between blue mountain ranges, vineyards and orchards, it is rich in heritage and culture and the warmest Boland hospitality you will ever encounter. The Mediterranean-like summers and true Boland winters provide the ideal conditions for exploring and enjoying the town and the surrounding area.

Worcester is home to the National Institute for the Deaf and Innovation for the Blind. You will certainly change your outlook on life after visiting these two establishments. Our position as the “Care Capital of South Africa” is both inspiring and humbling at the same time.

We are pleased to announce that Worcester will soon have a Ladies Circle. Working together with our fellow organisations, such as Round Table 68, Rotary, and Lions. In addition to making a difference in our community, our main objective is to foster friendships within it.

Meaning of our logo:

In our logo, we have outlined the face of a woman representing the Worcester Ladies Circle. The organization emphasizes the personal touch and human connection that it provides to its community. The silhouette represents Worcester, the Care Capital of South Africa. A hearing aid is adorned with lines on an ear, and one eye is covered. Our town has been designed to meet the needs of members with visual and hearing impairments.

A Protea flower around the face represents growth, beauty, and nurturing, which are our core

values. It can also symbolise the idea of women blossoming through community support and

empowerment. It's the national flower of South Africa and represents the LCSA logo.

Black links us to Worcester Round Table 68, which conveys professionalism and seriousness.

This green colour represents down-to-earth, new beginnings, and generosity. This shows the

impact and positive outcomes we want to bring to our community.

Red symbolises sacrifice, courage, passion, love, and joy.
